Our Initiatives
The BC Games Society will be reviewing various aspects of Games operations with the objective of looking to ways of updating processes and practices to continue to make the Games a positive experience for everyone. As plans are developed they will be communicated to the sports in the Games and information will be posted here and in other sections of the Culture of the Games pages on our website.
Responsible Coach Movement
The BC Games Society has signed the Responsible Coach Movement. We are committed to ensuring that our athletes and coaches are protected. To ensure this we are in the process of reviewing our practices to align them with Phase 1 of the Responsible Coaching Movement (RCM).
Code of Conduct
The BC Games Code of Conduct outlines expected behavoiurs of all Games participants (athletes, coaches, officials, adult supervisors), volunteers, staff, partners, spectators, fans, and everyone associated with the Games.
