Seven BC Games and Team BC Alumni to Represent Canada at 2023 Pan American Games

The 2023 Parapan American Games are taking place November 17-26 in Santiago, Chile, bringing together the top athletes from the Americas and Caribbean.

Canada’s contingent of 140 athletes includes seven who previously competed at the BC Games or for Team BC at the Canada Games. They will represent Canada across six sports: CP Football, Goalball, Para Cycling, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Tennis.

With the 2024 Paralympics less than a year away, these Parapan Am Games will not only serve as an opportunity for athletes to test their mettle against international competition, but also an opportunity to punch their ticket to next summer’s Games in Paris.
